How to brew
Description
Soft and soothing in the cup, this herbal tea carries the honeyed warmth of chamomile and lemon balm, lifted by the delicate scent of orange flower and lavender. The infusion settles golden and calm, an unhurried moment to mark the close of the day. The blend draws on plants long woven into traditional herbal lore: passionflower and St John's Wort, chamomile and lemon balm, all gathered here in Portugal. Lemon balm in particular has been valued for centuries for its calming, relaxing character. Brew two tablespoons in a litre of just-boiled water, cover and let it rest for ten to fifteen minutes, then strain. Enjoy it warm in the evening, here at O Cais or at home, as the light fades over the Arade.
