Description

This blend opens with the warm, slightly earthy character of Pu Erh and oolong, lifted by the tartness of hibiscus and rose hips. Orange peel and natural red-fruit notes bring a gentle brightness, while blue cornflower petals scatter colour through the cup. Pu Erh is a fermented tea from the Yunnan region of China, traditionally aged like wine to deepen its flavour over the years. Here it joins oolong, dandelion root and blackberry leaves in a mix long valued as purifying and grounding. Loose leaf; steep a spoonful for three to five minutes in just-boiled water, then strain. A quiet, restorative cup at O Cais or carried home.
