How to brew
Flavour
Earthy, mineral and slightly aromatic,
Description
The aroma opens with rose petals and soft jasmine, drawing you towards a deep, fermented Pu Erh beneath. In the cup the infusion is earthy and mineral, slightly aromatic, the kind of tea that asks you to slow down and stay a while. Pu Erh comes from the Yunnan region of China, where it has been made for centuries through a slow fermentation by microorganisms. Like wine, it deepens with age, and it carries only a gentle amount of caffeine. Here it meets rose and jasmine for something a little eccentric. Long valued to warm the body and settle digestion, it makes a grounding pause in the day — enjoyed at O Cais or carried home in eco-friendly packaging.
