How to brew
Description
Pour the water over the leaves and the cup blooms a deep amber-red, carrying a lift of orange peel and the clean, lemony note of lemongrass. The taste is smooth and round, citrus-bright without sharpness, mellow even after a long steep. Rooibos comes from the shrub Aspalathus linearis, grown in the Cederberg mountains of South Africa and free of theine, so it suits any hour and anyone. Here it meets orange peel and lemongrass with natural orange and lemon aromas. Let it rest three to five minutes and enjoy it warm, or chill it over ice with a mint leaf for a bright summer refreshment. Loose leaf, served at O Cais or taken home.
