How to brew
Description
Pure, unflavoured Rooibos, loose leaf and warm in the cup, with a soft russet infusion and a naturally sweet, smooth character. There is no astringency here, no bitterness even when it lingers, and no caffeine — a cup anyone can share at any hour. Rooibos (Aspalathus linearis) grows only in the Cederberg mountains of South Africa, where its long, slender leaves give the plant its name. Long valued as a soothing, grounding drink, it is traditionally enjoyed with a slice of lemon or a little honey. Drink it hot by the quay or chilled as an iced tea on a warm Silves afternoon — a cinnamon stick in the pot makes a lovely addition. Take it home in eco-friendly packaging and keep it cool, dry and away from light.
